　今日は新日本フィルの演奏家のみなさんに来ていただき、3年生が「ワクワク音楽道」の特別授業を受けることができました。間近で聴く本物の音色に子どもたちも感動していました。

The New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra players came to our school to have a special "Waku Waku Ongakudo (Exciting Music Lesson)" for the third graders. The authentic sound and music moved them just in front of them.

　今日は6年生が中学校の体験授業を受けに寺島中学校へ行きました。少人数で分かれて、それぞれの授業を受けてきました。

　今日は、6年生がふれあいサロンで地域の皆さんに「三吾小を紹介する川柳」を披露しました。直接の対面での交流は本当に久しぶりです。

Today the sixth-grade students had 'Fureai Salon,' an interaction with senior citizens in the town. They made their own senryu poems and presented them to the older people.

　今朝は1年生・6年生合同の児童集会が開かれました。もうすぐ体育学習発表会があるので、玉入れなどを行いました。

The first and sixth graders had students' morning assembly this morning. They enjoyed Tamaire-game (a game in which two teams throw as many balls as possible into a basket atop a high pole or someone's back), as the Sports Festival is coming soon.

水道キャラバン

　台風の影響が心配されましたが、東京は幸い大きな被害はありませんでした。4年生は、東京都水道局の皆さんと一緒に「水道キャラバン」の特別授業を行いました。東京の水について、詳しく学ぶことができました。

Although we had been worried about Typhoon Nanmadol, Tokyo has not been damaged much, fortunately. The fourth-grade students had a special "Water Caravan" lesson with the Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau instructors. They could learn precisely about water in Tokyo.

　今週は、3年生と5年生が演舞麗夢の皆さんにダンスの指導を受けています。今日は3年3組と5年1組が2時間ずつ挑戦しました。みんなとても楽しそうでした。

The third and fifth graders have a special dance lesson from Emblem, the dancers' team. Today, the students of 3-3 and 5-1 had a two-hour lesson. They enjoyed dancing.

葛西水族園

　今日は2年生が3年ぶりの校外学習で葛西臨海水族園に行ってきました。グループで協力して見学してきました。最後にペンギンのえさやりをみんなで見ました。半日でしたが、楽しい校外学習でした。

After two years' absence, the second-grade students had an excursion to Tokyo Sea Life Park, Kasai, Edogawa Ward. They went around the aquarium in groups. We had an excellent half-day trip.

　今日は2年生が交通安全教室を行いました。交通事故の死亡事故は7歳、8歳が一番多いそうです。

The second-grade students had a traffic safety lesson today. The death rate from a traffic accident is the highest for seven and eight-year-old children.

　今日は4年生が近くにある清掃工場を見学に行ってきました。しばらくコロナで見学は中止になっていましたが、やっと見学できるようになりました。

Today the fourth-grade students visited the waste incineration plant in the town. Due to Covid-19, we have not been able to visit the plant for a long time.

　新しい週の始まりです。今日は6時間目に委員会活動が行われました。環境委員会が芝刈りをしてくれました。

　今日は、地域のお祭りの様子を見に行きました。今年も御神輿は担げませんでしたが、町会の出店も出て賑わっていました。

Today we went to a shrine near our school which had an autumn festival. They couldn't carry a portable shrine yet. Small markets of each town association were crowded with people.

防災の日　避難訓練（2年生）

　今日から前期後半の学校がスタートしました。コロナ関係でお休みしている人が数名いますが、ほとんどの子どもたちが雨の中登校してきました。関東大震災から99年目の今日、4時間目は、避難訓練を行いました。

Today we started the latter half of the first semester. Some students, who caught Covid-19, are absent from school, but most have come to school cheerfully. September 1st was the day of the Kanto Great Earthquake ninety-nine years ago. We had a disaster drill in the 4th period.
