避難訓練

　今日は朝の登校直後に避難訓練を実施しました。大変寒い朝で、プールに氷がはっていました。

We had a disaster drill this morning just after they arrived at the classrooms. It was a freezing morning, and we saw ice on the surface of the swimming pool.

読売ジャイアンツ野球教室

令和5年1月23日（月曜日）
　今日は3年生が読売ジャイアンツの元選手と野球教室の特別授業を行いました。初めて野球に触れる子もいましたが、楽しく体験することができました。

Today the third graders had a special lesson on baseball with the ex-professional baseball players of the Yomiuri Giants.
For some students, it was their first time playing baseball.

いじめ防止授業地域公開講座

令和5年1月21日（土曜日）
　今日は土曜学校公開で、「いじめ防止授業地域公開講座」を開催しました。1時間目に各学級で道徳の授業公開。その後、体育館にて本校のSC・H先生の講演を行いました。映画「となりのトトロ」を見ながら、親子関係を考える、とても貴重なお話を伺うことができました。

　今日は1年2組で、研究授業を行いました。学校中の先生たちが、1年生の授業を参観して、教育委員会の先生をお招きして勉強会をもちました。2組の子どもたちは、とてもよくがんばっていました。

All the school's teachers saw a math class of 1-2 today and studied the teaching method with an instructor from the Sumida City Board of Education. The students worked very hard!

　昨日の委員会の時間に花の植え替えを行う予定でしたが、雨のため、今日の中休みから行うことになりました。時間の関係で、半分だけ植え替えが終わりました。これから春まで楽しめる花です。

The Environment Committee was planning to replant flowers in the San-Azu Garden yesterday, but it rained, and was postponed. The members tried to replant half of the garden in the middle recess today. We will enjoy those flowers until the spring.

　今日から後期後半がスタートしました。コロナ感染が心配されていましたが、今日はほとんどお休みもいませんでした。各学級、久しぶりに友達と会って、みんなうれしそうでした。1月の暗唱は十二支を言う課題でしたが、今日だけで70名近くが合格できました。

The latter half of the second semester just started today. Only a few students were absent due to Covid-19. Students looked very happy to see their schoolmates.
The recitation trial in January is of Zodiac signs. About 70 students already passed the recitation today!

　明けましておめでとうございます。本年もよろしくお願いします。
　今日は、照れ島中学校体育館にて、寺中地区青少年育成委員会主催の凧づくり、たこあげ大会が行われました。午前中、三寺小の皆さんと一緒に凧を作りました。寺島中学校の皆さんもいろいろと教えてくれました。午後は、作った凧を荒川土手で揚げました。お天気もよく、温かく、楽しい一日となりました。

Happy New Year! We wish all of you a fantastic year for 2023.
The Kite Making Festival, under the auspices of the Terajima JHS district Youth Fostering Committee and sponsored by Mukojima Police Station, was held at the gym of Terajima Junior High School.
Many students joined it and made their own kites with Daisan Terajima Elementary School students. The junior high school students helped them. In the afternoon, they went to the bank of the Arakawa River and played with the kites. It was a warm day, and everyone enjoyed the festival.
