給食室で、甘みを引き出した焼き芋を味わって食べてほしいと思います。

メカジキを油で揚げて、ピラフに入れました。カレー風味のピラフを味わって食べてほしいと思います。

Today’s pilaf contains fried swordfish. I would like students to taste and eat the curry-flavored pilaf.

1月24日〜30日は、全国学校給食週間です。今日から昔の給食で食べられてきたメニューを紹介します。今日は、第1回目で、明治時代の給食のメニュー（ごはん、塩鮭、菜の漬物だったそうです）をもとにした献立です。

January 24th to 30th is National School Lunch Week. I will introduce the menu that was eaten in old school lunches from today. Today is the first time, and it is a menu based on rice, salted salmon and pickled greens that were on the school lunch menu in the Meiji era.

トックはうるち米でできた餅です。卵も入ったスープをおいしく食べてほしいと思います。

Tteok is a rice cake made from non-glutinous rice. I want students to eat that delicious with eggs.

明日葉（あしたば）とは、東京都八丈島でたくさん作られる野菜のことです。明日葉パンを味わって食べてほしいと思います。

Ashitaba is a vegetable grown in Hachijojima, Tokyo. I want students to taste and eat Ashitaba bread.

600個以上のぎょうざを手作りし、油で揚げました。おいしく食べてほしいと思います。

Today’s we made over 600 dumplings by hand and fried them in oil. I want students to eat delicious food.

小豆ごはん　牛乳　さかなの塩麹焼き　おひたし　なめこ汁

1月15日は小正月を祝う風習があり、どんど焼きをしたり、小豆がゆを食べたりします。給食では、あずきごはんにしました。

On January 15th, there are customs to celebrate the Lunar New Year, such as doing dondo-yaki and eating red bean porridge. Today’s school lunch included red bean rice.

松風焼きは、おせち料理の一つです。給食では、表面にごまをかけました。

Matsukaze-yaki is one of the New Year dishes. In today’s school lunch, we sprinkled sesame on the surface.

おみくじコロッケには、うずら卵、ウィンナー、たこのどれかが入っています。
中身の具によって意味が異なります。ご家庭でも話題にしていただけたらと思います。

Today’s omikuji croquette contains either quail eggs, wiener sausages, or octopus. The meaning differs depending on the ingredients inside the croquette. I hope you can talk about this at home as well.

七草うどん　牛乳　ごま酢和え　白玉お汁粉

1月11日は鏡開きで、お供えした鏡もちを切らずに手で小さく割ってお汁粉などにして食べます。
一人3個のおだんごを食べられるようにしました。手作りお汁粉を味わってほしいと思います。

On January 11th, the kagami-biraki is celebrated. Instead of cutting the offered kagami-mochi, we break it into small pieces with our hands and eat it as oshiruko. We were able to make 3 dumplings per person to eat. I want students to taste handmade oshiruko.
