令和2年2月の給食

ふりかけごはん　　　牛乳　　　ししゃものごま揚げ　　からし和え　　のっぺい汁

のっぺい汁とは、とろみのついた具だくさんの料理です。旬の食材の入ったのっぺい汁は、体もあたためてくれます。和食給食を味わって食べている様子でした。

Noppei soup is a dish with lots of thick ingredients. Noppei soup with seasonal ingredients warms our body. Students seemed to taste and eat Japanese food for this school lunch.

ミルクパン　　牛乳　　ハーブパン粉焼き　　アマトリチャーナ　　キャベツスープ

アマトリチャーナとは、イタリアのアマトリｰチェという町のパスタ料理です。ペンネという細いパスタ、ベーコン、チーズ、トマトなどの野菜を使って作りました。聞き慣れない料理ですが、パスタ料理として覚えてくれたようでした。

Amatriciana is a pasta dish from the Italian town of Amatrice. It’s made with thin pasta called penne, bacon, cheese and tomatoes and other vegetables. It’s an unfamiliar dish, but students seemed to have learned about this pasta dish today.

給食の和え物に使うドレッシング類も全て手作りです。今日は、冬が旬の大根を使った、ポン酢のドレッシングを作りました。給食室手作りドレッシングはどれも人気があります。野菜を残さずに食べていました。

All the dressings used for school lunches are all popular with students. Students ate without leaving any vegetables.

ビビンバは、韓国の料理です。肉味噌、炒り玉子（いりたまご）、ナムルをよく混ぜ、ごはん粒も残さずに食べていました。

Bibimbap is a Korean dish. It contains miso-flavored, roasted eggs and namul. Students mixed them well and ate without leaving and rice grains.

2月22日は、三吾小のうさぎのショコラの誕生日です。一昨年はキャロットケーキ、昨年は米粉のチョコケーキをショコラの誕生日に出しました。今日は、初めてのブラウニーです。手作りブラウニーを、味わって食べていました。

February 22 is the birthday of the rabbit Chocolate, Sanazu elementary school’s pet. Two years ago I served carrot cake and last year I served rice flour chocolate cake for Chocolate’s birthday. For today’s lunch I served brownies for the first time. Students tasted and ate the handmade broenies.

ぶりの旬は冬です。ぶりは、成長するにつれて呼び名が変わる出世魚です。関東では、わかし、いなだ、わらさ、ぶりと呼びます。関西では、わかな、つばす、はまち、めじろ、ぶりと呼びます。旬の魚も、覚えてほしいと思います。

The season of yellowtail is winter. It is a birth name of the fish; its name change as it grows. In the Kanto region, they are called Wakashi, Inada, Warasa, and Buri. I want students to remember seasonal fish.

トックとは、韓国で食べられるもちのような食材です。野菜・卵・肉・トックの入ったスープで体があたたまったようでした。

Tok is a ingredient like rice cake that is eaten in Korea. Students seem to have warmed up eating soup with vegetables, eggs, meat and tok.

道産子汁（どさんこじる）とは、北海道の郷土料理です。じゃがいも、バター、コーンなどの入った具だくさんの汁物です。バターの風味のよい、具だくさんのどさんこ汁を「おいしい」と言いながら食べていました。

Dosanko-jiru is a local dish of Hokkaido. The soup has lots of ingredients such as potatoes, butter and corn. Students ate plenty of butter-flavored ingredients from Dosanko-jiru while saying, “It’s delicious.”.

ビーンズポテトは、揚げた芋と大豆と、塩こしょう・ガーリックパウダー・パプリカパウダー等の香辛料を絡めた料理です。はしを使い上手につまんで食べてほしいということも伝えました。

Beans potatoes is a dish that includes fried potatoes, soybeans, spices such as salt and pepper, garlic powder and paprika powder. I told students to use chopsticks and eat it up.

今日は、和食です。和食とは、ごはんに汁もの、おかずを組み合わせた、日本で昔から食べられてきた食事のことをいいます。今日は一汁二菜の献立でしたが、よく食べている様子でした。

Today’s lunch was Japanese food. Japanese food is a combination of rice, soup and side dishes that have been eaten in Japan for a long time. Today’s lunch was a bowl of soup and two side dishes, but students seemed to eat a lot.

ゼノワーズパン　　　　牛乳　　　　　コーンサラダ　　　　白菜と豆乳のシチュー

ゼノワーズとは、スポンジケーキのことです。スポンジケーキの材料である卵、さとう、バターに、アーモンドパウダーを混ぜて、パンにのせて焼きました。香りのよい甘いゼノワーズパンに、大喜びの様子でした。

Genoise is sponge cake. The sponge cake ingredients, which are eggs, sugar, butter and almond powder, were mixed and baked on bread. Students seemed to be delighted with the fragrant and sweet genoise bread.

ハニーサラダは、全学級からのリクエストです。揚げたせん切りのじゃがいもに、野菜、はちみつ入りの給食室手作りドレッシングを和えて食べるサラダを残さずに食べていました。

Honey salad is a request from all classes. It’s salad with fried, shredded potatoes and a handmade dressing with vegetables and honey. Students ate it all.

マーボー丼も、毎年リクエストされる料理です。給食ではトウバンジャンの使用量を控え、甘く仕上げています。ごはん粒も残さずに、食べている様子でした。

Mapo-don is a dish requested every year. The school lunch’s was sweetened via less use of Chinese chili bean sauce. Students seemed to eat without leaving any rice grains.

はっさくは、苦み・酸味があるため苦手な児童もいますが、旬のはっさくを食べてほしいと思い毎年出しています。様々な柑橘類が旬をむかえているので、その名前も覚えてほしいと思います。

Hassaku is bitter and sour, so some students are not able to eat it easily. However, I want students to eat seasonal hassaku, so I serve it for school lunch every year. As various citrus fruits are in season, I want students to remember their names.

和え物の白菜とゆずは、冬が旬です。旬とは、1年で1番栄養がありおいしく食べられる時のことです。給食を食べる中で、旬のおいしさに気がついてほしいと思います。

Chinese cabbage and yuzu with seasoning are dishes for the winter season. This season is when you can eat the most nutritious and delicious foods of the year. I want students to notice the seasonal taste while eating school lunch.

ムMoussaka is like a Greek gratin. Moussaka with meat sauce, potatoes, eggplant and chees is very popular. Many students said, “I want to eat it again.”.サカは、ギリシャのグラタンのような料理です。ミートソース、芋、なす、チーズを使ったムサカはとても人気があり、「また食べたい」という声を多く聞くことができました。

Moussaka is like a Greek gratin. Moussaka with meat sauce, potatoes, eggplant and chees is very popular. Many students said, “I want to eat it again.”.

かいそうサラダは人気があり、毎年リクエストされます。給食室手作りのドレッシングで、かいそう・やさいを残さずにたべていました。

Seaweed salads are popular with students and are requested every year. Students ate all of the seaweed and vegetables with the dressing made in school kitchen.

節分ごはん　　牛乳　いわしのカレー唐揚げ　　おひたし　　けんちんじる

節分では、柊の枝に鰯の頭をさした｢やいかがし｣を玄関に置き、まよけにします。これは、とげがあるひいらぎの葉といわしのにおいを鬼がきらって家に入ってこないためといわれています。ほかにも、節分では豆まきをします。病気や災いを鬼にみたて、豆をまいて追い払うという意味があります。今日は節分の行事食として、豆といわしを使った料理を出しました。1年に1度の節分メニューを味わっていました。

Setsubun-rice,　Deep fried sardine,　Boiled vegetables　with soy sauce dressing,　Clear soup
During Setsubun, “Yaikagashi”, a sardine head on a holly branch, is placed at the entrance to places as a charm. It is said that this is because demons hate holly leaves with thorns and the smell of sardines, and so they don’t enter the house. And beans are sowed for Setsubun. It has the meaning of seeing demons as illness and evil, and driving them away with beans. Today’s lunch was a meal that used beans and sardines as an event meal. Students enjoyed the annual Setsubun menu.
